I am a fully qualified,
UKCP-registered Psychotherapist and Certified Transactional Analyst
(CTA-P).
I offer both short and long-term work with individuals, couples, relationships and groups and I work both online and in-person in Witney and Oxford.

We live in stressful and challenging times: wars, climate and cost-of-living crisis dominate the news that surround us. And there is often an unspoken message that we should be constantly feeling happy and positive. However constant challenges can leave people feeling isolated and alone in their worries and struggles.
I aim to provide a safe space for you to talk about what brings you to therapy. Sometimes it’s clear (a relationship breakdown, work or parenting, for example), other times, it might be a need to share how unhappy, lost and hopeless you might be feeling.

Often people want to be heard. To know they have an impact on others; that they matter and what they have to say is important. Relationships can be healing when we feel safe and understood enough, to bring our full selves – the light and the darkness.

My hope for you is that therapy will help you gain an understanding of yourself in a much deeper way, gaining deeper insight into how past ways of relating might be holding you back, how much we are powerfully shaped by the culture around us, our family's history within us, and in doing so to transform your understanding of yourself and how you relate to others and the world.

I have experience of working with the following issues: depression, anxiety, trauma, neurodiversity, panic attacks, pre and post-natal depression and anxiety, identity, work-related problems, stress, relationship difficulties, bullying, loss and bereavement, sexuality, mixed-heritage backgrounds.
I was brought up in a mixed-cultural environment and have lived and worked in a number of different countries. I will value and respect your social and cultural perspective.
I have been working in the field of mental health since 2014 and completed 5 years Counselling and advanced Psychotherapy training (level 7). I am registered with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and my practice abides by their code of professional conduct and ethical principles. My work is closely supervised by a senior UKCP-accredited supervisor. I am also a member of UKATA (the UK association of Transactional Analysis) and The Relational School (TRS).
